Born in Jackson, Mississippi, and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Jackson earned his bachelor of science in molecular biology at King University in Bristol, Tennessee. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, and completed his pediatric residency at the Carolinas Medical Center, now Levine Children’s Hospital, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Jackson joined Mountain Area Pediatrics in 2003 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Jackson enjoys running, reading, and dates with his wife, Sarah. He loves surf fishing with his son and watching his girls’ soccer and volleyball games. Because he has enjoyed every season in his own children’s lives, he feels privileged to celebrate each season of his patients’ lives. It is his great pleasure to serve children and families as their pediatrician.
